Origin Group hosted a session titled “How AI and Gen Z Are Redefining Leadership” delivered by Dr. Amer Al Rawas, during their People 5.0: Shaping Future Workforce conference. The talk examined how rapid advances in AI, combined with the rise of Generation Z in the workforce, are redefining what effective leadership looks like today. Through research-driven insights, Dr. Rawas explained how AI is becoming a powerful leadership enabler that offers data rich insights, removes biases, and provides continuous feedback for personal and organizational growth. Participants explored how AI powered tools can identify blind spots, support real time coaching, and create consistent leadership development at scale. He emphasized that every AI transformation begins with strong leadership grounded in ethical deployment, clear vision, and a culture that encourages innovation. The session also highlighted the growing influence of Generation Z. Drawing on global workplace data, Dr. Rawas outlined Gen Z’s priorities such as mental health, inclusion, authenticity, and meaningful work. He contrasted traditional directive leadership models with the emerging approach that values collaboration, emotional awareness, and purpose. The central message was clear.
